Conceito de evidência: esboço de um diálogo entre Educação Histórica e Filosofia (The concept of evidence: anatempt of dialogue between history education and philosophy)

Abstract

The paper analyzes the naturalization of the Cartesian concept of evidence as truth of a clear and distinct mathematical nature, and under those conditions accepted as an object of learning, as opposed to the concept of historical evidence conceived basically in its present and provisional character. Based on a field experience on historical evidence (a picture) the paper searches for some indicators of pupils’ difficulties at high school - when they are already strongly attached to the school routines - in facing the historical evidence as a challenge to raise problematizing questions based in which historical knowledge can be built.
