Confrontos entre práticas culturais de invisibilidade e de dispersão: a política de currículo como fogo de monturo (Confrontations among cultural practices of invisibility and dispersion: curriculum policy as dunghill fire)

Abstract

This text unchains an analysis of curriculum policies effects developed at the end of the 20th century. It starts from teachers, parents and students testimony, considered as protagonists of the curriculum policies, characterizing their effects. The guiding subjects of the analysis are about significance practices that, addressed and/or taken root in the school education, create such effects. The analytical process indicates cultural practices that construct the notion of the curriculum as being neutral, generating a nonpolitical vision of it and favoring the maintenance of hegemonic relationships. In the same policy, cultural practices that take the community as center and that are disseminated by them, make the protagonists of the curriculum more powerful in building new hegemonies.
