Abstract
This paper examines the relationships between the State
and curriculum policy in educational research, by questioning the idea
that the State centralizes the production of curriculum policy. In contraposition
to this idea, it is argued the role of the epistemic communities in circulating
the discourses which produce curriculum policies. In this process, the
common culture and the performativity discourses are particularly discussed
as producers of curriculum policy.
