Abstract
Possibilities of transforming pedagogy at university
are discussed with reference to a project where teaching and learning
were investigated. The project was developed in the Centre for Research
in Education of the Institute of Education and Psychology at the University
of Minho, between 2002 and 2004. Its driving force is the integration
of research and teaching through critical inquiry into practice by teachers
as teacher-researchers. The need to keep the issue of pedagogic quality
and value open to discussion in the academic milieu is stressed.
