O futuro da educação na sociedade global [The Future of Education in Global Society]

Abstract

This article starts from Samuel P. Huntington’s claim that since the Cold War ended in the 1990’s, the world has been fragmenting in divergent fractions, based on religious and cultural differences. The article also analyzes the divergence between global educational ideologies. Finally, Huntington’s forecast that the world will be taken by growing shocks among civilizations is discussed. In order to perform this task, the article explores the topics of global languages and religious and cultural differences.
